Some things build slowly.
The pressure or burnout that creeps up. The worry that hums quietly in the background. The low mood that settles in so gradually it starts to feel normal.
At Slow Burn Psychology, we offer a space to understand what's going on and to find your way back, at a pace that works for you.

Who you'll work with
Dr Anthony Joffe
Clinical Psychologist | PhD
Anthony is a warm and thoughtful clinical psychologist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress, and low mood. He aims to create a space where people feel comfortable slowing down, making sense of what they're experiencing, and working towards meaningful change.
His clinical work has a specific focus on the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders and symptoms of burnout, particularly in high-stress occupations.
Anthony completed his doctoral research examining how the emotional demands of work contribute to burnout. This research has been presented and cited internationally. He has also contributed knowledge and clinical input to trials designed to reduce symptoms of burnout in healthcare.
Outside of the clinic, Anthony works as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Black Dog Institute.
